My Plans for the Hols....YeaH...

It was a very holiday mood day at work yesterday coz I knew its going to be PH and i have also applied leave on 01 June 07... haha (LONG LONG WEEKEND).
Have planned the activities for this break, starting from 6.15pm (after work) on 30.05.07 (but i only managed to leave office at close to 8) - :(

After work, we headed to Orchard to see the GSS crowd.. Surprisingly the crowd wasnt as expected and the SALES wasnt as attractive as advertised... Still, i bought things.. haha.
Bought a Harley Davidson T-shirt (i always needed a t-shirt coz i seriously have less than 3 T-shirts at home) - Was much cheaper than usual...Good buy i suppose.

Also bought a shirt from G2000 for Tat coz he is attending a function (Product Launch) on Fri 01.06.07. Though there was no attractive GSS promotions (the other shirts had 30% off or buy 1 and 2nd pc at 50%), BUT this shop (yes G2000!!) promotes DBS Cards!!!

Just few days ago, i was telling my big boss abt the privileges of our cards (esp for the dining sector)... Quite pathetic i felt. Yet yesterday, i heard with my own ears, the sales person was saying, "15% off if u use DBS/POSB Cards...on top of store promotions"
Wow.. finally!!!

Shopping, Makan and we headed to watch "Pirates of the Carribean - At World's End"
Not exactly a fantastic movie probably because i din watch Part 1, din quite understand Part 2 and thus was lost at Part 3... heehee..
The good thing was both Ms Single & Availiable (OCBC & DBS) enjoyed the movie... The movie was near 3 hours (including the usual ads at the beginning of the movie) ZzzZzzz....

POOL Time... Has been long (really long) since Tat saw me play POOL...the first time he saw me play, i was still an IDIOT, learning how to hold the cue properly... BUT now, hahahaha!!!

IM STILL ONE!! but of coz better than before... Upgraded IDIOT.. :)

Work, Shop, Eat, Leisure & eat (+couldnt get cab)... i arrived home in the morning!!!! My mum was pulling her hair... think blood boiling but im glad she din scold me... (think she knows im too tired to listen to her even if she started the #$*&%&%$(#@ .....wahahaha.) - Thanks MUM...

Im looking forward to my holiday on Fri (01.06.07) coz i have everything planned...

• GSS attack (not going to wait and fight with the evening crowd)...

"Kuku"-logy

Long, long time ago, there lived a couple, Adam & Joey. They were a very loving pair and thus they decided to get married and lived in a small cottage near the river. Of coz, love couldnt keep the 2 of them alive... thus, Adam had to go out to work. His work place required him to cross the river to the other side of the cottage where he wont be back soon.
Joey on the other hand, missed Adam very much.. Days & weeks passed, she is dying to see her beloved Adam. She decided to cross the river to find her dear. But she has no $$$. The fisherman refused to ferry her over for free...

In the cottage, a "colour wolf" (villain) got to know abt Joey's problem and decided to offer her a deal - If she is willing to spend the night with him, he would provide her the $$$ for her to cross the river to reach her loved one. Joey pondered for a long time and finally took the offer to sacrifice herself in exchange to see her beloved Adam.

Fulfilling Weekend 26.05.07

Im back from my long waited beach outing @ Sentosa... Had lots of fun, although i or rather we have become Human Lobsters from the Sun....

We arrived at Sentosa, Palawan Beach around 10+, after waiting for the late comers. Thereafter we started our Beach Game after settling down with our delicious Bee Hoon Breakfast...Yummy.

After our first round, we all had to admit that we have grown older over the years, compared to our last beach outing abt 2-3 years back... Our stamina level dropped (most of us were from Sports CCA during our school days)...

Despite the lack of stamina, we continued to play several matches, taking water breaks after every 5 balls scored by either team.. Every round was a close match with close scores...

As usual, TaT is still my idol - He jumps in the air, hangs it there and catches/smacks the ball away from the opponent... :) - Nice move.. always like to see him in action during sports.

After hours of games and unintended sun tan (sun-burn should be more appropriate), we dived into the beautiful pool of the resort to cool ourselves while waiting for Mr J... our check-in representative.
[He was late and made us shiver in the cold when it started to rain and we had no room to check in!!!
"Mr J, u have to compensate us for the torture and thus we are not paying u back for the accomodation...wahaha"]

We also went for night Luge & sky ride after dinner... the sky ride is much more scarier in the night...

Back to our room 0715, we played our all time fav..UNO stacko... and im proud to say im the only survivor who did not lose from the game... hee (i even won $$$ when we played it again on Sun morning - players involved: Me, Mr J & Ms Single & Available - OCBC, Ms Single & Available - DBS)

TaT & Pei Pei drank too much and got drunk!!! Luckily they din perform stunts in their drunk mode and were still manageable...
[Tat said something when he was drunk...im still wondering if i can believe a drunken man...(but i wont broadcast what he said)]

AGAIN, Mr J perform stunt (apart from being late)... HE SNORED THE WHOLE NIGHT!!!! disturbing our sleep.... *gosh* and he was like sleeping just next next to me... IMAGINE!!
(But his punishment : hahahaha... he was RECORDED!!! we have all the evidence against him...and we intend to post it online for the whole world to know... wahahahahaha) - Mr J, give u some time to atone for your mistakes or u will see the not so nice side of u here...

Of coz, apart from Mr J's comical stunts, the whole outing was fun & enjoyable and i met many new people - Friend's friend, Tat's colleagues (some whom i have heard of but not met)... Nice meeting all of them :)

Hopefully someone will organise the next outing soon... so nice to have fun, meeting people, playing sports, indoor games, drinking and all fighting to sleep on beds... oops... haha..

Nothing to do...

Really bored today... Nothing much to do, nothing interesting happening that is catching my attention...

Even now that i feel like blogging also dunno what to blog...

Maybe share some happy news for today *Finally after working for abt 4 years, someone has appealed for my unfair treatment. Im looking forward to what they have in mind for me...hopefully i dont have to wait too long before the verdict is out*

Just as i am blogging abt all these, i received a Prank call to my home number... looking for me and wants me to guess who he is (he sounds pervertic!!)
The clue given to me is, the one who has called you "sexy baby" before... the conversation ding dong for a while, keeping wanting me to guess who he is...
Finally i said, "i'm not interested in your game and if u are not telling me who u are, im hanging up!!!"
And he hung up without saying anything...

(AND FYI, Peggysan hates it when i try to imitate that expression...wahaha but i just like to spite her...heehee)

Hopefully all these are signs of a good start of the week [before the real fun on SAT comes... :)] YIPPIE...

Excited abt Sentosa

Im looking forward to our trip to Sentosa this Sat 26 May. This outing is initiated by the OCBCs... They have booked a room there and we will be spending our weekend there till Sun... *So relaxed...*So happy...*

From the web, we got to know that Sentosa will be holding events on that day itself so its definitely going to be a HAPPENING SATURDAY...

But everyone has been so busy with work that there havent been much time that we could sit down to discuss the details.
In view of everyone's busy schedule, i have volunteered to prepare the food for the day. Of coz this task will be accomplished with help from peggysan!!
The 2 of us have discussed and we will be preparing sandwiches (sardine, tuna & luncheon meat), hotdogs and also Seawaves Sotong Balls!!!*nice*highly recommended*
If i can, i will try my best to fry some bee hoon so that its more filling and everyone will have enough to eat. We are still considering if we want to make potato salad... YUMMY YUMMY!
As for the drinks, we will need to trouble the MEN to do it coz drinks very HEAVY... Got to include ice-box, ice, and a lot of drinks including alcohol for the night... (Guys, time to show your musculine side...wahaha)

Courtesy to our colleagues from DBS (haha,DBS is also contributing) we managed to borrow volleyball & frisbee... and we have also planned wet weather program (The Game of the King).... very interesting!!! heeheehee...

Currently the total strength for the day is 12. Hopefully the rest can revert soonest so that more can be planned and discussed...
Will surely turn out FUN!!

Relieved... Finally

After a long & painful wait, my results finally arrived in my letterbox this afternoon...

Fortunately & luckily, I PASSED!!!! YEAH!!!
HaHa.... and turned out that results were better than expected. I guess the lecturers were lenient (thank you anyway)
For that, i earn myself a present from Mr Pineapple... heehee and a Treat from AhQiQi coz she fare better than i did...

Probably i will take this opportunity to thank the people who had prayed for me (though i know some of them will not be reading this) as i was really very sick during my exam period (with fever as high as 39.8 degress C)

The school also sent a summary of all my previous exams and i realised i actually did fairly well for my Dip... :) with mostly Bs & Cs...
im still considering if i want to scan my results to show the world... maybe not (due to sensitive issues...)

Im looking forward to the graduation to receive my cert... something that i have waited for 2 years.

Big SweetLand MONSTER

In case any of u out there who are not sure what im referring to as the "Big Sweet Land" machine, i managed to get a pic of it..
This machine is ADDICTIVE and look what TaT & I have got last night...in mere 2 hours after spending $xxx !!! (sensitive issue, remember?)

I have decided to label this machine as a MONSTER coz it is eating too much money...haha.

Well, though i have a rich boyfriend (someone who has nothing but talent & money), i have decided not to waste his money... im a matured adult!!! (hehe..but im young at heart, younger than a 21 year old okay?)

When i told TaT abt my decision, his response was, "It's okay lah... Dont say i dont pamper u or dont dote on u... Maybe we can stop playing till we discover a machine elsewhere that gives even better prizes!!!"

So touched by his words, right? hee..

So to TaT:"i know u dote on me... and im now letting the world know how nice u have been to me" - DECLARATION OF APPRECIATION!!

Oh yah, back to the Monster... to all of u out there:

It's a Fun machine but just watch your budget... unless u have a rich boyfriend like ME... haha...

The Big Sweet Land

For those who noticed the latest "in" thing in arcade, "THE BIG SWEETLAND", have u ever wonder why it is attracting people of all ages to be sitting at the machine for hours?

12 May 07, TaT & I landed ourselves (Peggysan joined us later) at the arcade at Jurong Point. We had finished our dinner & shopping (for mobile phone) and thus decided to visit the arcade for a game of Basketball & Daytona... In the end, we spent most of our time, joining the crowd, watching the players at the The Big Sweetland machine...

Tat: "Would u try?"
Me: "Nah, waste of money! I can get the same soft toy at the gift stall for a much much lower price."
Tat: "sshhhh...not so loud.. People can hear us. Though it is wasting $$, but its more of achievement than being value for money."
Me: "oops... quite true though"

We continued to hang around the machine seeing how 2 aunties played... There were many other audiences like us, sharing the joy (when the sweets hit the checker tab or when the wheel strikes JACKPOT) & the disappointment (when the "spade" did not scoop any sweets or did not scoop those in box form which would help greatly in the game.)

Tat popped the question again and this time i answered,"U want to try right, okay lah... we shall try our luck...maybe we can get JACKPOT then we wont be spending so much." Excitedly, we took out our wallets to change for the gold coins...

We found seats that someone had played before (ie. the bars had moved some levels...hehe) And the toy is a Purple Monkey... Very Cute!!!

~Shall not mention how much we changed, there may be sensitive readers!!~

We took turns mastering the act of scooping & releasing the sweets at the right spot... There are actually techniques (based on our plays):

• One should not greedy - Do not aim the areas where there are big heaps of sweets (Reason: When the specify area has too many sweets, it becomes too heavy and the spade will not be able to scoop any sweets)
• If the spade has scooped many sweets, u should release it in front of the tray, so that it will push the sweets forward, aiming for the checker tab
• If unfortunately, only few sweets are taken then release them at the back of the tray
  

Our earnings of the Night:

1. We got the purple monkey quite easily coz we hit JACKPOT (yeah!!!) - i jumped around at the arcade like a small kid, raising my hands in the air, turning rounds... quite embarrassing as i eventually realised that i became the centre of attraction there... hehe...
2. We also got a pair of doggies with a Winnie the Pooh (my fav) pouch... this second play was the killer coz our luck was not so good then and we spent more money on it...
3. We earned a lifetime of SWEETS... a whole big bag (all thanks to the bonus stage that we had, pushing a lot of sweets into our prize box)

Tat & I at Mac after our experience with the THE BIG SWEETLAND machine... we were perspiring (due to the excitement)

Conculsion:
Though we spent some money on the mentioned items which was obviously not worth it, BUT the FUN, ACHIEVEMENT & JOY cannot be bought with $$$...(Money is not everything)

Would i play again...? Yes, if im too bored, if i feel rich or if i need to wait for someone for hours (but whatever spent will be on that person's account) - So people, if we are meeting, Dont make me wait... :)

I Hate Work...or rather i hate my JOB!!!

The time is now 21:15, Sun 06 May 07... its hours before i need to wake up, get dressed and take the MRT to Tanjong Pagar to office for work. The thought of it really makes me sick... as sick as the past few days where i was down with high fever, headache etc...
Whatsmore i was told by one of my team-mates that i have to clear SHIT when i get back to office on Mon... I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY!!!... (given that i have been receiving calls from office ~EVERYDAY!!~ for the past 3 weeks that i was on study leave) - it's as good as not going on leave, just working from home.
i just feel so Fustrasted & Angry... About the work, having to clear shit and the colleagues!!!

All these (dread going to work, the fustrastion, the anger) just tells me something: I want & I need to change job, change an environment and change for the better. A job that is better paying (since im underpaid...having to work like shit yet getting lower pay than some colleagues of lower rank and also contract staff... SO UNFAIR) & has better prospects.

Now that i have my diploma, it's time to tidy up my resume and explore the world of opportunities... :)

More Wives vs More Husbands

Wanted to blog abt my exams and being seriously sick for the past few days but as i read Pineapple's blog today, i feel the need to speak up for all women...

Pineapple's blog mentioned that women should allow men to have more wives in order for the so call "good men" to share their goodness and love...

To Pineapple: if u happen to read this blog, do note the following:

1. Very sadly and unfortunately, u do not belong to the emperor era that allows u to have lots of concubines (even if u were living in that era, erm, sorry, u may not be the Majesty..so too bad for u)
2. Unless u change your surname to Mohd (no offence to Muslim readers), there is no way legal for u to have 4 wives. (My advise: spend your time to find the right one instead of finding 4)
3. As the chinese saying goes "its not possible to have 2 tigers on the same mountain"... unless u want to have a taste of hell before u even go there, then by all means try your luck.

For the women who are reading this, if Men can reason to have more than 1 wife, women should also be allowed to do so, right? (equality between Men & Women)

Our reasons are just as simple:

We need 1 man

1. Who is handsome like Brad Pitt for us to show off (be it to friends or people on the streets)
2. To Provide us with attention, love, care & concern
3. To Provide us the $$$ for our shopping spree

Total of 3 men needed to satisfy the needs of a woman. Unlike Men, women are less greedy. Isnt it time for U Men to do some reflection??
